Tyler Grevengoed

Tyler’s approach to the practice of law is to work closely with his clients to help them understand the legal process and reach their goals. Open communication between an attorney and client is vital, and Tyler’s genuine desire to learn about his clients and understand their needs fosters a strong attorney-client relationship.

Tyler has an extensive background as a trial attorney. He served many years as the Assistant County Attorney in Sioux County, Iowa, obtaining invaluable experience trying cases to verdict in bench and jury trials. In addition to overseeing criminal prosecutions, Tyler represented the State of Iowa in mental health and substance abuse committal proceedings, advised the county on employment and real estate matters, drafted ordinances, and served on the county employee board.

The knowledge and experience Tyler gained from his years as a government attorney now benefit his clients in private practice. Through his years in private practice working at a small firm in Iowa and running his own law firm, he has focused his practice to serve his clients in the areas of real estate, estate planning and administration, probate, elder law, landlord/tenant matters, guardianships and conservatorships, business planning, and civil litigation related to those practice areas.

Licensed to practice law in Nebraska and Iowa, Tyler works out of the firm’s Omaha and Council Bluffs offices.
